Seat count was exactly right

The boat left on time with eight divers as advertised and the guide knew exactly where the eagle rays stage. Booking held through a flight change.

Three dives on the Thistlegorm

Across two days rather than the usual rushed single pass. Nitrox was included and never ran short. Would book this operator again without checking elsewhere.
Tomás B. · Advanced Open Water · Red Sea

First boat dive after certifying

I was nervous and they paired me with a guide for the whole dive at no extra cost. Photos were sent through the same evening.

Booking a dive, answered

The questions divers ask before their first booking. Still unsure? Support is staffed by dive professionals, not a script.

Contact diver support
  • Do I need a certification to book a dive trip?

Most boat dives require an Open Water certification or equivalent. Every listing states the minimum certification and logged dive count, and the search filters remove trips above your level. If you are not certified yet, discover courses can be booked with no experience at all.

  • Can I cancel a dive booking and get a refund?

Trips marked free cancellation can be cancelled up to 24 hours before departure for a full refund, which covers roughly 92% of listings. Cancellation terms appear on the listing, in your confirmation email and in your trip manager before you pay.

  • What happens if the operator cancels for weather?

If an operator cancels for sea state, visibility or mechanical reasons you are offered a same-week alternative departure or a full refund, including any prepaid gear rental. Weather cancellations never count against your booking history.

  • How are the operators on World Scuba Network vetted?

Every operator submits operating permits, third-party liability insurance, instructor credentials and annual equipment and oxygen service records before a listing goes live, and re-submits them every twelve months. Operators falling below a sustained 4.4 rating enter a supervised improvement plan.

  • Is the availability I see actually live?

Seat counts, boat capacity and guide ratios sync directly from the operator's own booking system, so the seats you see are the seats they hold. Confirmation is immediate on 96% of listings rather than a request that waits for a callback.

  • Do you charge a booking fee?

No. The price you see is the price the operator sets, and there is no service fee added at checkout. Dive Club members see member rates funded out of operator margin rather than a discount we subsidise.
