The guide ratio is the whole difference
Four divers per guide meant our divemaster actually pointed things out instead of counting heads. Found a splendid toadfish under a ledge at Palancar within ten minutes. Nitrox was ready and analyzed before we boarded, and the second dive ran 61 minutes.

First drift dive and I was never nervous
I had 40-something dives and no drift experience. The briefing covered exactly how the boat tracks bubbles and what to do if I got separated. Crew handled my gear between dives. Booked them again for the following day on the boat.

Excellent diving, dock parking is tight
Diving was everything Cozumel should be — vis was well over 100 ft both dives. Only note is the marina lot fills early, so take the hotel pickup instead of driving. German-speaking guide was a nice surprise.

What happens if the port closes for weather?
If the marine park or port captain closes the port, you are automatically offered a rebooking on the next available departure or a full refund to your original payment method. No claim form, no operator negotiation.
Do I need drift diving experience?
No. Cozumel drift diving is generally considered easier than shore diving — the current does the work. Guides brief the group on positioning and the boat follows your bubbles rather than requiring a fixed exit point.
Is nitrox really included?
Yes, at no extra charge for divers with a nitrox certification. Bring your card or have it stored in your WSN diver profile and it is verified automatically at check-in.
Can non-divers or snorkelers come along?
Snorkelers can join the same boat at a reduced rate. Add them in the divers field and select the snorkeler option at checkout, or message the operator to arrange it.
